Has anyone had calls from a Jessica at Diamond Resorts Hospitality? I just received one but I was not at home to take it - they left a Las Vegas phone number for me to call back - Is this about the water intrusion assessment? I don't know if I should even try calling the number back - my anger is coming out and not a good time to talk to them

The only unsolicited calls we ever get from Diamond are when they are trying to sell us a weekend getaway package, usually to Sedona or Las Vegas (since we're in the west). The last one came about a week ago.

Call them and vent you deserve it.

Oh I did, and got voicemail - I left a message that the least they can do is supply me with a toll free number, and if it was regarding the water intrusion I am furious of what they expect, I also told them NOT to call my cell phone which would consist of a long distance call for me and they have enough of my money  guess what - they haven't called back!

What could they say? Sorry is not even remotely adequate.

DRI Calls

If you are headed to P@P within the next few months the call is probably to try and persuade you to attend an "Owner's Update."

Given your voice mail I doubt they will call back.

With the SA, I wouldn't want to be a DRI sales person right now. They are goiing to battered and bruised.

Cheers,

Paul

They still call me at home every few months asking to come into my home and give me an DRI update!  I have always told them I would never let a timeshare salesperson come into my home, but now I'm tempted to have them come over and tell them how I really feel.....:hysterical: :hysterical:

DRI is reaching out

Today I wrote an email to DRI CEO Stephen Cloobeck and within 30 mins a representative from his office, Sarah Hulme, called me. If anyone emails the CEO I bet they'll be called. It was a good time to vent. She listened, sounded concerned, and gave some generic answers. They are trying to connect. She strongly encouraged me to attend the meeting in San Francisco on the 20th and saved me a couple seats. Said a lot of answers with respect to the Water Intrusion Assessment would be forthcoming. So, if anyone wants to receive a call and talk, email stephenjcloobeck@diamondresorts.com.

Time for action

 Its clear that Diamond never cared to assess the sales impact this "water intrusion assessment" would have, and certainly felt no pain at all when jamming this $65.8 million expense (most likely going to friends and family members) down the collection members throats. As a buyer of the Hawaiian collection I now know that this will continue forever as their primary business practice when needing to generate more revenue. Prospective buyers from Diamond need to truly know that whatever they hear in the sales process is likely to be far from the reality they will face if they sign that contract. My next website will be www.dontbuyfromdiamond.com and I need to get busy on it. How do you know your Diamond sales rep is lying?? Their lips are moving.
