When you send in your diamond lane check-in, do you get an email back? If so, how long should it take?
The reservation is for Vistana Resort.

I've gotten an email back saying I'm showing up at a time when Diamond Lane won't be available. I would think you'd get a confirmation. Have you gotten anything yet?

Two days after I posted this message (this morning), I received a number of emails from Vistana with pdf attachments. The email told me that they had received my diamond lane check-in. It was not a personalized thing, though. The email does have the name, email, and phone number of a diamond lane representative that you can contact. I will be doing that to make sure my request has at least been read and recorded somewhere.

from what i've read, the diamond lane folks might try to hard sell you and push you to attend the sales presentation.

Whether you're Diamond Lane or not, you're going to get hounded to attend the sales presentation. Don't pick up your welcome package (coupons) .... and unplug the phone in your unit.

If you pre-register on SVO's website, you get to use the "fast lane" at check-in (can save LOTS of time if checking in at a busy time).

It might get your name to the sales people sooner ... but, they're going to get your name sooner or later ....

I'll take the line with 2 people in it over the line with 100 people in it anytime!

Is Vistana the only resort that has a Diamond Lane? I've used it in Orlando but I haven't seen it anywhere else.
