Diamond Exchange Website Constantly Freezes

This happened last year when I was booking exchanges for this Summer and now it's happening again. I have tried different browsers, different computers, different wifi networks... the problem is definitely NOT on my end, it's the website.

What happens is that it provides inconsistent results when searching availability. Sometimes it says there's nothing and then other times it provides lots of options.
Then, when you go to book the exchange you want, it stalls and stalls and stalls... Last year I was able to get it by just trying over and over until I got it. This year I think I will just call and try to book it by phone.

It's quite frustrating because there is a lot of great inventory available, but booking it is SUCH a hassle.

What I had happen when I was trying to book a week on the Exchange, everything went ok until payment, then it froze during the payment and timed out. So I went and did it again, same result, froze then timed out. I went online to my CC account and there were two charges for exchanges that never happened. I disputed the charges and they eventually were removed. In the meantime, I called a rep and made the exchange...a few bucks more, but no freezes.

I called and they told me to use the Hilton website instead.
Well, it's the exact same issue. It freezes at the same spot and won't let me proceed.

The search function is funky too. If I make the search window really narrow to only include the dates I actually want then it doesn't find anything. But if I broaden the search window to include a month or more then it finds all kinds of options. The Hilton version functions exactly the same way as the DRI version. I feel like this may be a coding error and it's showing me availability that doesn't exist.

Update:
It took multiple phone calls but finally I was able to book the week I wanted!!!
They kept having the same issues on their end that I was having trying to book. I really do think it's a coding error of some sort.

What do you mean a few bucks more? There's no charge booking with a person right?
