DAE is offering three weeks to one this month for any Florida Keys weeks. I own Xmas and New Years in the Keys and am tempted to trade a week. However if they have little inventory or have difficulty meeting requests then I'm not interested. We like Mexico and Europe and USA cities. Also, am I at liberty to use DAE as my home resorts are affiliated with RCI and II? Any experience out there?

They have always gotten us what we wanted. We go to PV annually for 6 weeks, half are trades through DAE (Sheraton Buganvilias). They also get Mayans, etc. We deposit our Allen House in London with them yearly too. I would absolutely recommend them.

Wow 3 for 1 - I am jealous.

My resorts are RCI and I have never had a problem with a trade. II should be the same. I got a 2 for 1 during a special last year when I made a Primetime deposit of my Las Vegas resort and the same special is on for this month. I got 2 summer Myrtle Beach weeks with the deposit.

If you do deposit and want to make a trade request, I think you will get your best results by calling and talking to them. I always call to make my requests. They must really want deposits in the Keys.

You would probably get more value out of these weeks by renting them. You will not find prime weeks with DAE.

Prime Weeks?

Is New Years Eve week at a Gold Crown resort in Las Vegas or a week at Ka'anapali Beach Club in Maui a prime week? If so, then I guess they do have prime weeks. They may not have as many as RCI or II, but the cost of an exchage with DAE is much cheaper and they give you extra value for your prime week.

I'm not putting DAE down - it's just that they are not affiliated with the top resort systems.

The top resorts like Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott are affiliated with II and/or RCI and the vast majority of their deposits go to II or RCI.

Ka'anapali Beach Club is nice, but it's not in the same league as the hotel based systems, and Las Vegas is an easy trade year-round. There are over 30 timeshares in the LV area.

I have never been able to get anything I want from them via exchange. I have even done long range requests, only to have to do something else and then have them call literally a week or two before my travel date with a match. Too late at that point, as I had to make other arrangements.

I have used them for a rental, where I got a week in New Orleans for about $150-$200.

Probably so, but a prime week is a prime week.

Some folks buy clothes at Target - some buy clothes at Nordstroms, others only designer originals. Seems to be a market and a market maker in every market niche. Value is not defined the same by everybody.
