Does anyone else read Pam Keystone's blog on the Destinations Club? Not sure if she is a member and/or active participant here. I don't usually learn anything new over there that I hadn't already heard here, but it is an interesting read none the less.

Dioxide,

Thanks for finding this, I will look at it -- I've never seen this before, but am curious.

Thanks again!

Greg

One thing I found interesting in the December 26 2011 entry was mention of how 100% of point inventory could be booked by those reserving at 13 months. This seems to be in contradiction to the exchange procedures document.

From my experience with trying to reserve at 13 months it doesn't seem to make a difference if 50% or 100% of inventory is available. 100% of zero is still zero.

I have been able to make one reservation at 13 months with DC points but that was at Lakeshore in the first week in November which I think is Gold there. All attempts at Frenchman's Cove for February-March have been unsuccessful at 13 months. It was the same for Ocean Pointe in July. I eventually got what I wanted but not until after the 12 month mark.

Interesting site, thanks for posting it. $299 is a little steep for travel planning for me though.

Dioxide- you're right; I was surprised to read that as well. I wonder if it is true.
Thanks for the link.
I'm guessing that most of what she has on the site is pretty common knowledge here, but I did signup for the free gold membership to explore it more fully. One thing that I did notice- which was interesting and, while available on other sites, is that she does post FF program specials. It would be convenient to see those listed for those of us (like me) who don't frequent Flyer talk regularly.

Maybe I need to look at the travel forum here more regularly, but is that info. routinely posted?
