Hi,
I am seriously thinking about trading into this resort May 2017. I just was on Tripadvisor and the resort has poor rating on cleanliness and housekeeping. Also, there are remarks of the carpet and furnishings being outdated and needing to be replaced. Has anyone here been to this resort lately? The points are very high to stay there and I'm now wondering if it is worth it.

Wyndham VIPF & PresRes, HVC/DRI (Gold), Quarter House (4), Resort on Cocoa Beach (2), HGVC Tuscany Village, HGVC South Beach-McAlpin, HGVC Parc Soleil
Stayed there last May and loved it. Weather was suberb, water was warm, tons of things to do, many restaurants at the HarborWalk and out in town.

We did have one maintenance issue that was never resolved. The valve body in one of the showers was broken and needed a part that never came it -- hardly an issue for my wife and me in a 3BR/3BA unit.

Points are high. May is not yet super high points-wise and I was able to get an upgrade and a discount.

We've been to Wyndham Emerald Grand (not Green) in Destin many times. The facility is very pricy point wise as you know. If we were going to rate the resort it would be 5 Stars. Everything was clean and housekeeping was fantastic. If we needed something we got it right away. It's a very high-end facility. Wyndham only owns a block of condos in the building, so it's not really a Wyndham property per say. Maybe the bad ratings were for the hotel side of the resort...
