I read in these minutes that the General Manager of the JW Marriott Desert Springs made a presentation to the DSV ONE HOA Board, at their October 2024 meeting, about the 2025 and 2026 Amenity Agreement, between Desert Springs Villas ONE and the JW Marriott Desert Springs. The minutes say little to nothing, just that there was a presentation by the GM of the JW. Personally, I find “fluff” minutes, like these minutes, incite distrust. Does anyone know what the terms are of the Agreement,? and, if the Agreement was approved for 2025 and 2026?

Thank you.

I would think if it was approved, that the vote would be noted in the minutes. They tend to keep minutes very general with not much detail. Protects them from many things. Have you contacted the BOD to ask about the agreement? Seems kind of late to be talking about these things. Same with the mention of the Corporate Transparency Act. That has been known about for at least a year and they’ve had since 1/1/24 to register if necessary.

Yes, I did reach out to them, after I posted my inquiry, here. Since the information that I received is not official, or intended for publication, I am not/did not publish it here.

However, I do believe that negotiations between the HOA/MVC and the hotel are late to bring closure. Amongst groups of people affected by the Agreement, are transient guests, considering a room for hire, through M.I./M.V.C., or renters, who might like to know/are entitled to know about the availability of this amenity, effective January 1, 2025.
