The wife and I are heading to MPD early Dec. Any recommendations for best buildings. Prefer good view, and not having any children with us have no need to be close to the activities.

Also, will be travelling there in our RV with our dogs so need to board them in the Palm Springs area. Anybody have a recommendation where to board pets.
 
For best view, you pretty much want a Western exposure so you can see the mountains. Try buildings 488, 764, or 848. Note the last two are near the pool but I wouldn't expect that to be any problem in December. Those two will definitely be rehabbed; not sure of 488. You shouldn't have any outside traffic noise from any of those units.

Hi Bob, thanks for the advice. We will request one of those buildings in response to the "Vacation Experience Planning" email we received from Desert Springs this morning..
