Hey guys,

I have 133,200 points that are set to expire on March 31, 2012. If I deposit these into RCI, then I will essentially have until March 31, 2014 to use them correct?

Also, I still should be able to deposit them since i'm still within my use year.

I'm kinda lost here and would like some guidance.

Thanks in advance!!!

You have it correct.

Since I am new and learning what happens next?

The points go into RCI. They can than grab a vacation within the RCI exchange pool as long as it is falls within the same alloted points range correct?

Does the deposited points have to be withdrawn from another exchanger before the depositor can book a vacation?

Points are held in account at RCI. You can search in RCI. That search allows you to use those deposited points PLUS lets you search with any additional points that are still back in your Wyndham account.

No other transactions by other exchangers come into play. You can book what is available or put an ongoing search fro something that is not in inventory. Today that might be free, promotion ends today, but I am not sure if it applies to Wyndham portal. Usually it is an exchange fee. If you cancel the search you get your fee back.

So if you need more than you have in your RCI bank it will just withdrawl enough to complete the transaction. Obviously the booking has to be for travel BEFORE the points expire. It is NOT just booked by the expiration, it is travel by the expiration of the points.
