My husband and I have Skysaver travel booked from Atlanta to Nassau, Bahamas October 6th. I just was playing around earlier on the internet and just decided to go to Delta's website. I pulled up our itinerary and lo and behold, our original flight down said schedule change and a new flight was listed. The original flight down was cancelled, it was leaving Atlanta somewhere around 1 pm and arriving around 3:30. Now they have our flight going down at 10 am or so, arriving shortly after noon. Now, that will work fine with us. Our timeshare, Club Land'Or usually accomodates us with a room whenever we get there with no problem. and, it give me more "sun and Bahama Mama time"...I guess now that there will be less direct non stop flights from Alanta to Nassau.

Anytime you book flights in advance, on any airline, you need to look at your reservations occasionally as they all change flight #'s, flight times or type of aircraft with a resulting change of seating assignments. I've had this happen on every airline we've ever flown.

It could be worse. SkyEurope cancelled their only Bratislava to Bucharest flight on a day I had a flight. I could not take their offer of a flight on an earlier day because I would not be there yet on my US to London and London to Bratislava flights, nor their offer of a later day, because I had to be in Bucharest when the flight was scheduled. They refunded the Bratislava to Budapest segment, and allowed me to change the London to Bratislava flight to London to Budapest, and I will take an overnight train from Budapest to Bucharest. The net effect is that I will arrive in Bucharest two hours earlier than scheduled, lose my most of a day plus a night layover in Bratislava, and gain five hours to kick around in Budapest.
