Deed not recorded?

Working on selling my Dad's timeshares. I am waiting for family to send me copies of Deeds (I am out of state.) All three are deeded and paid off (Wyndham Grand Desert/Star Island and Silverleaf Oak N' Spruce)

With on-line deed searches - see the two Wyndams recordeded properly. However I do not see Silverleaf recorded in Mid Berkshire County deeds (where OakNSpruce is located - Lee, MA) See other, older recordings for OakNSpruce, but not for Dad's deed.

What reason might it not have been recorded in Dad's name??

I have heard of mistakes with spelling before when recording the deed. Just a thought.

Well if you have an idea of when it was filed, you can typically filter/sort Deed's from a date and then go through them 1 at a time.

It can take a little while. Some of the systems allow you to filter further.

If you have the original, you can see if it is stamped.

Maybe it's not filed.

Try calling Silverleaf and ask for a copy of the deed in their system.. They should be able to provide him with a copy.
