Will be at Ocean Pointe next week, got a call last night offering 200 DC points to attend sales presentation. First time I've seen that offer. They also had $125 in gift cards and MR points but I can't remember the amount...I think 17,500.

That's an interesting offer when you consider that I always seem to be 50 to 75 points under what I need to reserve what I want. I never thought they'd have a gift that was worth going into a sales presentation again but, if an additional 200 points puts me over to get the reservation I want, it might be worth 1.5 to 2 hours of arm twisting.
DSV1 offering
I'm at DSV1 this week and they are only offering 10k to do the presentation. I'm not enrolled in the DC yet and pretty sure that I don't want to be. Somewhat interested in hearing some more about it but wife does not like to go to the presentations and I don't think it is worth my time for 10,000 points

We HATE the presentations, and are charter members of the TUG "Never Again!" club. We are also going to Ocean Pointe next week, so I made a note of what the thread-starter said was being offered. Told The Boss (he still believes me when i call him that - isn't that cute, after 40 years?) - position here unchanged. We have not gotten a phone call yet, but have our "I fear I must decline . . ." response (yup, a Porgy and Bess quote . . ) all ready. Of course, the weather forecast is for RAIN for 5 out of 7 days we are going to be there, so Cabin Fever might persuade us - although we have all kinds of museums, etc. lined up.
