Dazed and confused about HGV Max

It was select, niche places that were in locations that HGVC is isn’t (dots on a map to get HVC owners to book at 12 months). Whether or not we can book is to be determined, but I would definitely bet the not being able to book side.
Probably like the Embarc properties

jp10558 we strongly disagree with your Opinion of DRI. We love Point at Poipu, Cabo Azul, Royal Regency (Vincennes - Paris) etc. We tried to Exchange into Royal Rengency for several years (shoulder seasons) with no luck. Joined DRI and Booked two DRI Resorts in France for 7 months later and one was Royal Rengency. if DRI is so bad why did Hilton buy control?
Hey, I believe it's working for you. I just meant from a financial standpoint, any of the sales I've been offered retail would pay for quite a lot of Hilton.com or Expedia bookings of those locations for quite a while vs the resale prices for places that have good resale treatment. If DRI let you book in any collection with resale like they do retail, it'd be a different conversation. For me, if I was going to try and get access, it'd probably be via DeX via Craig Lodges - but I'm not even sure that would make sense for my usage. The OP has to decide what they want to do, but as I saw above, their planning window is 3-6 months, so they should take a hard pass on TS for now IMHO.

If you are planning on booking any TS in the 4-6 month time period, then I would suggest that you don’t purchase a TS. The reason is that you will only see very limited inventory.
There is always plenty of inventory for Great Wolf Lodge.... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Of course those 30,000 point weeks in a 1 one bedroom aren't exactly in high demand...

At some point before October (date not finalized yet), all Embarc members will have access to DEX. No enrollment fee and no differentiation between retail and resale points. This would be another pathway to obtain DEX membership other than Craig Lodges.

Yea, I'll keep this is mind also, though I am not even sure I'll eventually want to add HGVC points to my portfolio - but if I did I think it'd be in service of McAlpin Plaza or Ocean Enclave so Craig is probably better there.

I am glad they are continuing to grow DEX.
