This is all a bunch of nonsense. Any male that has been married for any reasonable period of time knows that dark matter doesn't matter. What does matter is puce matter, and maybe mauve matter. Or strawberry. It matters if you don't know the difference between strawberry and red.

If you don't know how those differences matter, then whether you know it or not, you're operating in a space where not much else matters. Frankly, in a marital relationship, when it comes to dark matter, white matter, or any other type of matter, your best option is to say "It doesn't matter to me. The only thing that matters is what matters to you." And it does matter if you can say that as if nothing else matters.
