DAE confirmation success

Years ago, before Dial an Exchange bought out Donita's, I used to have wonderful success with that company. I would call Donita and she would get me what I asked for, or find me something else that met my desires.

Since Dial an Exchange took over, it seems that my requests are ignored.

I'd like to ask those of you who have had recent success getting desired confirmations, how you went about it. Did you put your requests in online and wait patiently, did you call? Did you speak with any particular agent?

i can echo this-I have gotten good things thru Donita and nothing with 2 deposits and requests at DAE for 2 years.

Nothing yet for me either. I put in my request on-line via their website request system. From what everyone says the good stuff never shows up on their website under the search availability function but I check that daily also. Not much that works for me but I keep hoping since everyone else seems to be so happy with them.

I got one exchange when I found something I liked on their web site.
For my second exchange, I put in a request and got my exact desire a couple of months later. I actually got a phone call telling me of the successful match. I'm a happy camper!

I requested resorts where I knew they had trading partners, such as UK canalboats, French Riviera, and Cayman Islands, and got confirmations rather quickly. When my nephew wanted a week for his honeymoon at a beachfront resort in an area of the Phillipines with scuba diving, they found me such an exchange for the exact week needed. I have also found lots of other good stuff - Thanksgiving Puerto Rico, summer Croatia coast, summer Polish coast, etc. online.

One problem I have found in putting in a request online is that their system has sometimes taken a request with a very broad timeframe and transformed it into a request for one specific week. Anyone who has put in a request online should make certain that their account shows the timeframe they are looking for correctly.

I have had no success in requests via their online submission form. You have to call.

Other than that, I'm happy with them.
