Cypress Pointe- Anyone else get a letter from RCI today?

Hi,

I received a letter from RCI today re: noise from roof repair work that will be in progress at Cypress Pointe through December 2006.

I'm concerned because this exchange is for a dear friend and his family over Christmas and I do not want them to have a bad experience. Does anyone know when the contruction will start? If it has started already, has anyone been there while it was going on and if so, what was your experience? Since the letter says that construction will be on-going through Decmber, does anyone know if it will still be going on over the Holidays? Thanks.

Roof Repair at Cypress Pointe

Dani,

The resort is replacing every roof in the Phase One area. We are currently working on the Clubhouse and hope to have all the buildings done by end of year. While there will be construction activities going on, the men doing the work have been cautious and have worked hard to keep people safe.

Depending on what the weather and the hurricane season bring, the resort may be complete by the time your friends come. The resort has had a lot of experience in doing work while our guests are at the resort. I visited several times during the renovation and experienced little to no impact on the quality of my vacations and business trips.
