Update on Cunningham Property Management managed properties
(COVID-19 response)

Dear Owners of Cunningham Property Management Corp managed properties,

It is our pleasure to announce the following resorts will open on May 23, 2020 to owners only at the following resorts:

Calini Beach Club, Gulf Tides of Longboat Key, Little Gull Cottages, Longboat Bay Club, and The Beach Club at St. Augustine. Siesta Sands 6 timeshare units are currently open to owners.

There are a few restrictions owners must be aware of before deciding to travel to their resorts. Recreation areas such as spas, meeting/recreation rooms, pools, and some common areas may be closed to owner use. Many services such as stay over cleans and towel exchange may not be available. Your specific resort will have the detail and will be in contact prior to your check-in.

Please be aware this is an ever-evolving situation and access to certain amenities at the resort may change at a moment’s notice.

Cleaning:
Each owner will be sent their resort’s specific cleaning regime which will include unit and common area cleaning procedures. Please be aware the staff at each resort will need more time to completely clean and sanitize each unit after each guest. This may require a later check-in time than you have been accustomed to. We will appreciate your cooperation and patience.

All owners should bring with them their own personal protection equipment such as masks and gloves. Also, we have a limited supply of hand sanitizer and disinfectant cleaners. You will need to bring these items for yourself to use during your stay. Responsibility of staying clean, washing hands, and adhering to social distancing rules will be on each individual owner and family member. Small resort staff and management cannot make the resorts safe without the help of each owner and as we all have learned there will be risk in anything we do outside our homes these days.

Travel: The governor of Florida created an executive order that requires any person traveling from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Louisiana, to self-quarantine for 14 days at their designated destination in Florida. Florida is taking these travel restrictions very seriously. State officials are stopping travelers at the border and in airports to determine if you must self-quarantine. Travelers who are directed to self-quarantine must be available for follow up contact by the state and are subject to 60 days in jail for violations. Management is being asked to help enforce the quarantine. If you have a one-week reservation, information regarding where you will self-quarantine for the balance of the time will be required.

Everyone at Cunningham Property Management and all resort staff sincerely thank all of the owners’ continued support and patience through such a trying time. Please, STAY SAFE and HEALTHY.

Thank You,
Richard Cunningham

We have our week booked for early November and still aren't sure if we want to go even if the US/Canada border has reopened.

I'm with you on this. IMO travel to the U.S. prior to November will be risky. There is currently the coronavirus rebound, the race riots, and you can be sure of other chaos prior to November. IMO driving would be especially risky since one could accidentally get caught up in local mayhem.

I'm on the opposite end of this. Still planning on flying to Keywest end of September...if the boarders are open. I see zero difference exposure wise between vacationing during the same time period in Canada or USA. Statistically about equal risk wise. (empirical data , not models) The unrest, our departing airport DTW, is low risk, the same as always. Sure we will use safety precautions as best we can, just like we do now, but bottom lineto us, going to the grocery store or going to Key West...all the same risk level to exposure.
