HI

I am a new member to time sharing and I bought a Wyndam time share online for a great price. Now that I am all signed up and ready to go I have a question.

When I log on to my account online under my points summary I see my 2012 years points but in 2013 it shows the normal yearly points and a credit pool points for a year of points. Does this mean my previous owner stored points in the credit pool and I have an extra years of points?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kim

Yes, the previous owner placed points in the credit pool.

Yes, you have additional points to use. Wyndham, for credit pool points shows the expiration date of the pooled points, you actually have from now until that date to use the points.

Great Thank you I thought so but I was not sure. Look like I have until 2013 to use an extra year of points.

That is great.

Thanks for the help!

Pay close attention to that expiration date for the credit pooled points. It will not necessarily correspond to your Use Year.

One of the problems we had in a similar situation was that they don't start using CP points until they are the next-expiring points...unless you ask when you call to make a reservation. If you book online, the system will not take the CP points if you have any other points expiring sooner. Because of that quirk, we would have lost some CP points if one of my daughters had not made a last-minute reservation after we'd dumped points into RCI.
