How does Bank Credit Card = Travel Benefits work ?

The fine print in the benefit guide is so small and pages long. Anyone have experience using these benefits (especially now during the health pandemic) What do you have to do to get coverage, what is NOT covered, what are coverage limitations. How and when do you file a claim? Do they apply to timeshare vacations at your home resort?

There's so many different cards with different coverages it's difficult to answer such a generic question. To add to the complexity is the fact card issuers have been making changes to these benefits earlier in the year. Your best bet to find out what you card offers is to go the website associated with the card.

Even many the pure travel insurance products like Travelex sold by MVC have carve outs to limit any payouts for lost trips. I would be really surprised if a credit card policy actually paid for the lost timeshare trip.
