Cozumel AI with Scuba

Never heard of a resort offering scuba as a part of the AI fee.

I am not aware of any either. Most ai's only include non-mechanized water equipment such as hobie cat, mask fins, sailboards, water trikes, etc. I am sure that dive companies will provide you with dive setup you can take to resort if you make dives through their company.

Try sand dollar diving in coz or solo baceo in cancun. They are both small dive shops with personalized service.

If there is, please let us know, I'd buy. The Royals use Solo Buceo in Cancun. Their employees/dive masters are there year after year and really like to dive. On Cozumel I really liked Aldora, they use steel tanks for long dives, then a long surface interval (lunch) and another long dive, excellent.

Sandals usually includes diving in the price, however, if you manage to book the Sandals property in Jamaica that is partly timeshare (Sibonney was the old name I have no idea what name it goes by now), the AI fee you must pay via the timeshare actually excludes diving.

That is the one reason we chose to purchase Tradewinds Cruise Club. As an owner diving is included in the AI rate, and that includes all equipment required as well. There are a few locations that have an extra fee, because it is a national park, but that is the exception not the rule.
