Hi,

we want to visit Disney World in Jan 2023. I was under the impression that our (unvaccinated) 4 yo wouldn't have to quarantine but only do a test after 3-5 days (parents are fully vaccinated). However the documents I find on the internet are confusing to say the very least.

https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/...ants-passenger-Disclosure-and-Attestation.pdf implies there would be a 5 days self isolation
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html#faq states no quarantine but self isolation when infected
https://eu.usatoday.com/story/trave...rantine-cdc-air-travel-system-nov/6217959001/ says that there is only the 3-5 day test after arrival needed
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...re-stringent-international-air-travel-system/ is talking about a pre departure test

Can maybe someone here help me out? Ideally with some official document / website that I could print out and carry with me?

Edit:
I think I now see my error in thinking:

"To self-isolate for a full 5 calendar days and properly wear a well-fitting mask any time I am (or this person is) around others during my (or this person’s) isolation period and for an additional 5 days after ending isolation,
• if the result of the post-arrival viral test is positive, or
• if I develop (or this person develops) COVID-19 symptoms."
So the condition (if the result is positive) is effective for the complete sentence and not only the second half ("and for an additional 5 days ..."). I feel this is a bit misleading.
Can somebody confirm my thinking is correct?

Children ages 2 through 17 years (minors) who are noncitizen nonimmigrants do not have to quarantine after arrival in the United States; however, the attestation requires that they get a COVID-19 viral test 3-5 days after arrival. If a child, like any other traveler, tests positive for COVID-19 or develops COVID-19 symptoms, they should isolate for a full 5 calendar days. They should also properly wear a well-fitting mask any time they must be around others during their full 5-day isolation period and for an additional 5 days after ending isolation.
