Ive had trouble with it many times. even if and when its 2 and a half minutes, Sometimes its just not enough. A sometimes it runs short I think. Ive had to remake payments and reservation several times to beat the clock. But I have not recent;y used the system so I can't say at this time.
Maybe tale a video of it - From beginig to end- if only 15 seconds was given to you - to prove it to Hyatt and then report it to them. i.e. your screen shot does not actualy prove you only had 15 seconds total to do your next step - and they would maybe tend to not want to belive you. Just a thought !

Just for fun, I was looking at where we might be able to go... my count down timer now starts at minus 44 minutes:
