After switching from Coca-Cola products to Pepsi in 2013, Costco is switching back again. Switch will happen this summer. Yay!

Hopefully Costco Canada follows soon afterwards.

Hopefully they get the mix better on the machines when they switch back. Their sodas were terrible the last few years.

I doubt I could tell the difference. My wife can tell the difference and likes Pepsi over Coke.

They had to stop selling soda with corn syrup at our Costco. The taxes were too high. I think it is $15 in tax for a case of soda. I refuse to pay and switched to sparkling water.

It wasn't just the Pepsi that was off. Mt Dew tasted bad too. That is one soft drink that the CocaCola brands lack a good alternative for.

Exactly. There is no substitute for Mt. Dew! Mellow Yellow is just AWFUL.

I don’t like either. The only lemon-lime type drink I like is Gatorade.

Yay indeed! I wish they offered something both sugar and caffeine free…

My wife too. She's disappointed with the switch. Best case scenario would be if Costco stocks Coke Zero. She dislikes Diet Coke.

I don't mind Diet Coke at a place like In 'n Out, which allows me to add a bunch of lemons and convert it into Diet Lemon Coke.

I have not had soda in 27 years. Not my thing. Water, juice or beer.

I usually go for the light lemonade with a shot of raspberry ice tea, hopefully Coke products have something similar.

I quickly figured out that included the delicious tiramisu the old folks home serves every two months. Have to have it at lunch, not dinner.
Oh, yes, tiramasu has coffee in it. Get it and have it with coffee the next morning.

They haven't had the tea offering at my Costco for many years now (pre-COVID,) but that is what I used to do, too.

I do not care. I have not consumed Pepsi or Coke in over 25 years. Nor have I eaten at the Costco Food Court since my Diabetes diagnosis 2.25 years ago. I think they should declare both of them health hazards.

Coke Zero maybe. But Diet Coke is also sugar free.
But they do have aspartame (at least in Canada) in them and that's worse than sugar. When I was doing my chemo treatment I was having more than the usual digestive system side effects. Since I was supposed to drink a lot of fluid (1 gallon?) each day and I was so tired, I had a glass or 2 of Coke zero. When I told my oncologist about what was happening she said that any artificial sweeteners will react with the chemo and cause digestive system issues. I switched to ice tea (using regular or green tea that I brewed myself) with a bit of lemon and had far fewer issues. Now when I drink anything with aspartame it has a metallic taste to me, sucralose isnt as bad. If calories are not a problem then the regular soda/pop is better for you, even if a diabetic as the pancreas cant tell the difference between real sugar and and artificial one.

Down here in Belize cane sugar is used in the making of Coca-Cola and our DD says its the best she has ever tasted.

I do enjoy the flavored fizzy waters (Bubly & the like) that are sold in the soda/pop section of grocery stores but they are crazy expensive in the US compared to Canada. I took 2 cases to Florida with us last fall. They, or the vitamin waters that Amycurl mentioned, are never in the soda/pop machines that I have seen but I'll be watching for them.

Some Coke fountains have a sugar-free Vitamin Water offering....would love that.

I've never heard of this. Then again I never heard of bobo tea until last month. My grand daughters took me out to what I thought was a tea house and had me buy all of us bobo tea. I couldn't believe these cost so much.

Ah ha, I think that's why they took me. I paid, lol. It was about $50.
