Wow, I'm a complete moron. Once I read that tax day had been pushed to July 15, never occurred to me that, duh, state tax returns still due April 15.

Edit: literally as I posted this a news update was published that Wisconsin pushed state return deadline to July 15 too.

Depends on your state. California extended their filing and payment date and according to the article a few other states are looking into it.

Tax Day now July 15, 2020 :

IRS extend filing deadline and federal tax
payments regardless of amount owed


Alert:
In response to the national emergency and to protect our employees, America’s taxpayers, communities and our partners, the IRS has temporarily closed all Taxpayer Assistance Centers and discontinued face-to-face service throughout the country until further notice. The IRS is continuing to process tax returns, issue refunds and help taxpayers to the greatest extent possible.

The IRS will continue to monitor issues related to the COVID-19 virus, and updated information will be posted (on a special coronavirus page)
