Are you saying that you bought a week at a resort that is also in the Points system? It may be helpful to know which resort it is.

You are right.
The resort is Lakeview Country Club in cornwall ,England.
I bought a two bedroom week .
The resort is also in points system.
My question is whether i can convert this week to points thru the lakeview country cllub?

I do show that the resort is affiliated with RCI Points. With regard to your specific week, I would direct you to contact Lakeview Country Club. If you have the option to convert, they will surely be able to provide the details.

Are US and UK accounts mutually exclusive?
I thought that a person living in USA was subject only to the US rules. In the UK they dont have points for deposit and the 9000pts window. Please explain how this proposed move over to points in the UK would marry up with the US position??

RCI Points exists in slightly different incarnations in different countries. These are tied to our members' countries of residence and not their timeshare ownerships.
A member who lives in the U.S. and purchases a Points-affiliated timeshare in Europe will be served according to the Points guidelines in the U.S. This makes it important to contact RCI in the home country to inquire about Points guidelines since the resort's information will most likely correspond to its own country. A member may then purchase timeshares in multiple countries and receive consistent service based on where he lives.
