The only question she didn’t answer was availability...I just pulled it up and searched for 4 nights.
every single day in sep and oct was available.

Thank you. Can you share what the cost is now for a cash week in September?

Also, is there any June, July, August availability?

Its 11 months not 10.

The cash only nights has the same availability as points so if it isn't available to book for points then it isn't available for bonus stays with cash.

As long as you are in the same trust the two combine. You do have to worry about use year but not in terms of MF's more just in terms of when points are available. Not all trust funds have that fee structure. That is the fee structure for the largest (most commonly available) trust; I believe it is E.

You only have the 13-12 month window on the actual week or nights not on the deed not on the resort in general. So two deeds would not work together unless the unit type and nights own correspond exactly.

This is older but it describes some of the basics about the different trust types. https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/bluegreen-points-trust-fund-d-e-etc-whats-the-difference.184360/ Any actual numbers for the MF"s would be out of date.

If you buy resale you can only book bonus nights at a resort where you own.

Thank you so much.

Bonus Time reservations may be booked 45 days or less in advance of arrival date, or 48 days if booked online. Due to advance travel planning needs, Club owners may book Pono Kai Resort and La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino reservations 90 days in advance of arrival date, or 93 days if booked online

Bonus time Cost for almost all resorts is $59/69/79 plus tax S/1BR/2BR
Edit Presidential is $179-190 Manhattan Club is $199-279

OK awesome. Sorry for all of these questions but I find this stuff really interesting.

This is week 20, right? So it's either the very start of ultra red (26k points) or the tail end of red (23k points).

Based on my bad math, without counting the Base Fee or Club Dues, maintenance fees on those point totals would be either $1518 or $1716, correct? And you're able to book for under $700?

Is there a limit to the number of days/weeks you can book with a cash reservation/bonus time? I guess the catch is you can only buy these weeks at your home resort, or if you bought retail, correct?

Another restriction on bonus time is only owners can use/check in. You can't book for friends or family and you can't rent it to others.

So going back to original issue of points/deeded place... So look on your deed. It tells you your resort and week or partial week. You have the right to book your week on your deed every year, I believe at the 12 month mark(think you have to call in), and if you don't, it goes into the "pool" and is seen as points. So it DOES matter where and when you are deeded. That is how so many of the "good" places, like Aruba, Big Cedar, St Petes, etc are all taken nearly year round and definitely in the desired months. They have the ability to claim their deeded time in advance, and then some of them rent out those times if they dont use it.
