Confusion about seasons

Hello all:

If you are looking at purchasing a resale which is floating but indicates gold season (for Kierland), I do not know what gold season means or any other season. If it is floating does it mean I can use it anytime of the year or is it restricted in some way because it is gold? Help!!

Gold season at Kierland is weeks 22-27 & 36-49. What they mean by floating is that you can pick any of the above listed weeks to use (you'll pretty much get whichever week you want by calling 12 mos. out). Gold season includes Thanksgiving week. If you're interested in that week, I would definitely reserve at 12 mos. out exactly.

Before buying, you should take some time to read the Starwood owner resources sticky if you haven't already:

In particular, read the first two items listed.

What size unit are you considering? You'll want to make sure it includes enough options to get what ever internal Starwood trades you're interested in. To look at the chart, click on the link that Frank listed above.

Best of luck!
