I have recently purchased week 15 in the new "Ridge" section of the Playa Grande in Cabo. It is a 1BD with 2 full Baths. I was told it would trade as a 2 bedroom unit because it has 2 full baths--I was advised that is the way they are determined for trade size. Well, when inquiring with an RCI rep I was told it would only convert to 29,500 points as I am a points member. This seems too low for the unit I own and needed confirmation on this conversion amount. I believe it should convert to the 2 bedroom amount of 43,000 points. Will you please verify that for me?
Thanks,
Gentry

Gentry,

RCI's program defines a two-bedroom unit as having two separate sleeping rooms that each have four solid walls and a hinged door. The two full baths in in your unit give it a private occupancy of four; however, it does not qualify the unit as having two bedrooms in our program. It may be classified that way by the resort, though. Unit definitions are not always exactly the same.
