Not even close. GV has full blown kids activity center and lots of other things to do. Pool at IP is small, but you have access to the World Center pool with a slide. GV pools are great. GV also has other things to do like paddle boats, fishing, etc. Go look at the pictures/videos on the Marriott forum.

We like imperial palms much smaller resort but you get access to the
pools at world centre .they have a great open plane self service restaurant on ground floor beside the pools.

My favorite kitchen anywhere in Orlando is Imperial Palms. The master bed/bath is enormous. Imperial is a 3/2 unit with a King, a queen/sofa bed, and 2 twins. It is a smaller resort that is closest to Disney out of all Orlando Marriotts, and use of the World Center is a huge plus.
Grande Vista is 3/3 with either a King, 2 queens, and 2 full beds or a lock-out with a King, 2 queens, and a King studio. The Marriott Grande Vista indoors kids Center is amazing for young children- think a massive Chick-Fil-A playground with activities every hour. I do not enjoy the many speed bumps into the resort at 6 mph.
