I have 105k points star island purchased on a resale. Looking at adding 44k points from Wyndham Westwinds from a resale.

My question is...Will this allow me to use 149k 13 months out at both Westwinds and star island?

Not if each contract is a deeded CWS contract. You will only have 105k ARP points for Star Island, and 44k ARP points for Westwinds. The only way ARP would apply to both resorts would be via a CWA contract - assuming both resorts have CWA inventory.

You could use the combined points at 10 months out, but not 13. For most resorts at most times you should be able to get what you want at 10 months.

Also of note- a lot of the Myrtle Beach resorts provide reciprocal ARP so if you own at one MB resort you can book at 13 months at any of the other MB resorts.

I think Westwinds had converted fixed weeks. If that 44k points is from a converted fixed week you would have 13 month priority is the original fixed week and since that isn't many points it could be a low season studio.

At 13 months you will only still have the option to book either 105k at Star Island or 44k at Westwinds (is there even anything available at 44k points?). At 10 months you can use all 149k at any one place.

I personally would consider a larger contract .. doesn't seem like the cost and effort to close on a 44K contract is worth it. Look for larger contracts with lower maintenance fees. Look at the Maintenance Fee sticky thread in this forum.
