I want to combine deposits on two of my weeks. Both are listed to expire in 2022. If I combine them now (2020) will I still keep the expiration date (year) 2022 or will I have to pay the fee to combine them for 1 or 2 years. In other words will the expiration date change if I combine?? Wow, I hope I am making this clear.

Well, after writing this and re-reading it I think I just answered my own question.. The year 2022 will remain the same only if I pay to combine them for 2 years. Right???????????? They are always asking for money no matter what you do. Bummer RCI!!!!!

You are correct. The most efficient and cost effective way is to wait until deposits are about to expire and then combine. Combining early on can actually decrease the time you have to use the new combined deposit. You have the option of 12 months or 24 months with the expiration being the last day of the month either 12 or 24 months from when you combined.

If you have an OGS associated with one deposit, but then combine that with another deposit, do you have to re-do the OGS?

Yes. You might be able to get an agent to restart the search and backdate the search but that certainly isn't an automatic.
