Does anyone know how Dues will be impacted by Hurricane Ian? Will there be a significant special assessment? How are they managing the hurricane situation….

They are managing the hurricane recovery just great. See my prior and others comments in this forum reporting on my stay there for the week of Christmas 2022.

And yes the hurricane has already had an impact on the annual maintenance fee at the Hyatt Coconut Plantation by at least an increase of around $500.

There will be a one time surcharge of $ 300 per week owned. We attended the board meeting in October when this was decided. The staff have done a wizard job of repair and recovery. We were just there for 2 weeks and had a great time. Biggest items still not fixed are elevators in buildings 1 and 2, and the lazy river.
