CO Onepass changes are minor

With the recent draconian changes in the ff programs at DL and US there has been a fear of other airlines following suit.

That isn't the case. CO just announced its changes and they are minor, essentially imposing some capacity controls on Easypass, and elites are even exempt from those. In a post on FlyerTalk, this Customer Experience Manager, Scott O'Leary announced that all reward levels will remain the same.

HOORAY FOR CONTINENAL!!!!!!!!

My only question is when they will let NW refugees comp status as we flee the DL takeover?

Continental has always done right by me as a regular ol' OnePass member. I have been able to use my miles when I wanted at the lowest award level. Only once did I have to shell out for EasyPass miles, which I did so willingly as those higher miles provided the scheduling I wanted.

I also like being able to put my NW & Delta miles into my OnePass account, but I suppose that will change if the CO/United merger proceeds.....

CO is not merging with UA, only forming an alliance with them. CO will also change from SkyTeam to Star Alliance, so the other domestic partners will be UA and US. That change, however will be a year or more away.

I also read on FlyerTalk that CO is now comping status from NW and DL, so I will be doing that soon. I will continue to fly NW primarily but put my miles on CO, until NW is rolled into DL, and then fly CO or UA will the miles on CO.

CO is doing right by its frequent flyers, especially its elites, unlike DL and US. The jury is still out of AA and UA. NW will likely be caught up in the DL swamp unless the takeover is somehow stopped.
