Club Wyndham Westwinds SC, Can you request a room in advance?

I've got a 3 day booking for a 2 bedroom deluxe in Mid-August at Westwinds in Myrtle Beach, SC. Is this a resort that allows owners (I'm not an owner at this resort but am staying on my points) to call ahead to request a room with a view of the ocean? Does anyone know who I would contact and how to make such a request? Thanks in advance!

At Westwinds the entire resort is oceanfront with oceanfront views, with the exception of a small handful of rooms, from what I recall, that have partial ocean views on one side. IIRC it’s 10 floors - so you can request a high floor if anything.

Here's a tip about parking. There's some parking on ground level underneath the resort on the 1st floor and just a few spaces on the 2nd floor. The rest of the parking is across the road from the resort. If you will need to use the luggage cart, then you will need to park on the 1st or 2nd floor due to uneven parking entrances everywhere else.

Here's another tip. Try to get a unit as high as possible so you won't hear cars that can be heard on the lower units.

We love Westwinds…have always gotten great oceanfront units and the nicest people work there! We go to Myrtle often and it’s our favorite of the Wyndham resorts there.
