Good day all. New member, first post. I recently purchased a Club Wyndham points package. I decided afterwards I wanted to rescind my contract. According to my contract, I have 5 days to rescind not including Sunday. I purchased on Sunday 12/5/21.
I signed and dated a rescission letter and sent it certified mail with return on Thursday 12/9/21. I also called and recorded a phone conversation with Wyndham rep notifying them that I sent a rescission letter on 12/9/21. Lastly I sent an email to the rescission department on 12/9/21 notifying them of the letter I sent as well.
Obviously, to me atleast, I am in the clear since it was all done on day 4, not counting Sunday. I know they received the mail on Monday 12/13/21, and I am currently expecting the return mail by Friday 12/17/21. Seeing as I have never dealt with any timeshare before, the 5 days does mean postmarked rescission letter within 5 days, and not received rescission letter within 5 days correct?
