If the time is available you can simply use what points you have and then borrow the rest from 2025.

I think you can only use future year points 60 days out? Maybe you can borrow before that if you have at least 50% in current year points (I don't)? When I try to make the reservation, it doesn't give me any options.

I think it's 90 days out.
