Club wyndham extra reservations

Hi. I'm still waiting for my resale contract to transfer to me. I'm currently a Worldmark owner and am wondering is CW offers resale owners or just owners in general the ability to rent extra points. Worldmark has bonus time, Inventory specials, and Monday Madness specials. Does CW offer anything similar? Thanks!

You are able to rent points at $12/K. Within the Standard window, you can only rent to complete the last night's stay. Within Express (3 months or less) you can rent as many as you need--total rentals in a year limited to the amount you own. Details in the Directory on page 318.

There are usually special offers at some resorts with discounts ranging from 10%-35% on the number of points needed to book the reservations.

The cost to rent points is $12 per thousand. During the standard reservation window (10-3 months out) you can only rent enough points to complete a portion of the last night's stay of your reservation. During the express window (3 months out) you can rent up to the amount of points you own annually. PIC's and bonus points don't count in that. If you cancel a reservation within the cancellation window you will receive a refund for the points you rented.

Whereas WM cash rentals (BT, IS, MM) are all less then MF rates and include housekeeping, the same is NOT ture for CW point rental. It is $12/K, plus housekeeping plus a rental transaction. It is generally higher than most owners MFs and is generally not a good idea.

The only good "bonus time" you get with CW is last call inventory in RCI, which I find useful for Orlando only.

Maybe worth noting, it is likely rarely a good idea to rent points if you have resale points. But if you are VIP with discounts, it can make sense. 60% off with upgrades at $12/1000 - I've done it.

If you don't have unlimited HK, it's cheaper to just use Koala.
