Is the pool heated? I read that there is a fence between Westin and Club Regina. Don't they share the common ground?

Re: Pool- sort of heated, we were there in December, and they seemed to be having trouble with the heating unit. The shallow pool appeared to be warm as there were lots of people in it- the bar/activities pool was some chilly, but once you were in a little was ok.

Re: Fence- it indeed is there. It goes across from the edge of the back building- over the sidewalk- between the shallow pools, to the beach. There is a gate that could be closed at the beach area, but it was always open when we were there. It cuts off the restroom that is by the Westin pool bar/restaurant- but they have installed a nice new, very clean restroom right next to the shallow pool that most of the children are in. It is very convenient. One of the drawbacks with to the fence is that it cuts off the building closest to the Westin from going directly to the club pools and grounds. If you are assigned the back building, you have to go around the Westin grounds to get to the club area, or through the lobby area. And if you have children that would like to use the playground- you have to either go through the Westin grounds or through the back building. You can use all the pools, but if you want to purchase food or drink from the Westin, you need to pay cash.

I have been to CR PV 3 times - twice around Easter and once in July. I never had the sense that the pool was heated by anything other than the sun - which seemed to work just fine. I could be wrong...

The dark blue tiled pool was heated when we were there and the dark tile helps heat it also.
