I'm trying to figure out what the total charges will be for a week at the Club Regina Los Cabos, and have hit a dead-end.

First, how is Mexico occupancy tax calculated for timeshares? I was looking into making some reservations at Club Regina Los Cabos, and was asking about fees. The reservation agent looked it up, but all the information she was that Baja California del Sur charges a 2% occupancy tax. I asked "2% of what" and she was unable to reply. I've tried talking to the resort, but they were no help. Anyone know how it's calculated??

Second could anyone who has been there recently pass on what extra charges were added to the bill at checkout? I'm not interested in the fee for use charges, such spa, room charges, etc. Just charges that are applied to everyone - such as the occupancy tax, housecleaning charges, or anything else that gets charged to everyone.

I was told by an owner that everyone is charge a housekeeping fee, but I don't know how much.

*I found the email - a year ago, the owner told me that the 1 bdm. 2 ba. fee was $3 per day.
