I'm looking for others in the same boat (though my boat has always had a leak since day one.)

I own at Bay Club. Late last year it magically read as "Club Destin" in my ownership. I know that I'm deeded at Bay Club. They know that I'm deeded at Bay Club. Bay Club knows that I'm deeded at Bay Club. "Don't worry" they said.

So once that 7/31 date came and went I noticed that my points suddenly read "0 points." I called in and got a call back from Fred at Owners' Resolution. He said that Bay Club and Bay Club II are a part of Club Destin and all fixed weeks have been dropped from the program. I received NO NOTIFICATIONS whatsoever that I was losing this converted fixed week. They gave me a phone number for Club Destin and they confirmed that Bay Club and Bay Club II ARE NOT part of Club Destin.

Bay Club and Bay Club II are still part of CWA so it seems rather ridiculous to say that since they are in the same city that they are part of the same association (which they are not.) But, lo and behold, my deed WAS changed to reflect Club Destin AND the points have been zeroed out.

The fact that they changed my deeded resort to a different resort AND THEN CANCELED IT is simply mind-boggling.

We've all read about @rickandcindy23 's woes with Wyndham. We've read the issues with Club Destin which has apparently now spilled over to other resorts.

And can we please have a discussion about Wyndham stripping an older gentleman's entire ownership touting violations in the Traveler's Pledge? THIS is a very serious situation.

Was your deed changed, or was it just your Club Wyndham account that was changed? Can you get a current copy of your deed from the county?

No, it was all them. It took months with a ticket in. They see it is Bay Club. They see the underlying week. All was "fine" with the exception that they said that ALL Destin resorts would now be under "Club Destin." Okay, whatever. Tell that to the PR owners at Emerald Grande.

I was trying to clarify your statement “my deed WAS changed to reflect Club Destin” but was your deed changed or just your Club Wyndham account? It seems like they made an inaccurate change to your Wyndham account and your deed remains unchanged, correct?

I see no amendments or changes on our filed deed in Sandestin from years ago. I'm guessing that Club Destin should be in Okaloosa County (not even the same county as Bay Club) but I can't even find how to search my name.

I don't think that the deed change. I believe that someone on the inside is maliciously making changes in my account (which has actually happened time and time again.) Except now they are downgrading my ownership.

And the hits just keep on comin'!

I've apparently lost RCI, Plus Partners, and Vacation Sidekick from my additional programs. Just wow!

In April and May I had a great deal of difficulty making APR reservations at Beach Street Cottages in Destin, 10 phone calls and two tickets I was finally able to make a couple reservations using owner services and using pts at other resorts. I have two resale contracts a Beach Street Cottages , they charge me the maintainance fees but when I go to make reservations they can't see to find the points associated with the ownership. I don't know if this has sometime to Club Destin problems discussed above.

maliciously making changes
My guess would be incompetently.

Someone on Facebook reported a similar problem - they own at Club Destin and at Bay Club, received a communication about Club Destin from both Wyndham and Club Destin, but at the time the Club Destin points were removed their Bay Club points were removed as well with no notice. They're being told the same thing as you are - that Bay Club and Club Destin are the same (when they are not). So it seems to be a Bay Club thing, not a maliciously target Pink Warrior thing.

Or it is mismanagement of the trust?

Is it possible that CWA simply owns units at Bay Club and thus those are still part of the Club Wyndham system because of the physical ownership but the property isn't affiliated anymore?

I guess it's possible, but it seems very weird that for actual owners of Club Destin both Wyndham and Club Destin sent advance correspondence to the owners notifying them of the termination of the relationship and what it meant for the owner going forward, and if essentially the same thing was happening with Bay Club the owners received zero correspondence from either Wyndham or Bay Club. Club Destin has confirmed that Bay Club and Bay Club II are not Club Destin (which makes sense, since they're nearly 10 miles apart and in different counties). But I don't have personal experience with the properties so I guess it's not impossible that something weird and abrupt is happening behind the scenes.

Concur with this -- Hanlon's Razor. Plus, statistics would seem to support incompetence rather than malice. I can think of only one slam-dunk instance of outright, outrageous, and continuous malicious targeting of a Wyndham owner by Wyndham. That is ongoing and well documented in this forum. On the other hand, we have scores, probably hundreds of examples of incompetence up and down the line and involving every division of Wyndham Destination.

Wyndham will have a time unscrewing the misnaming of resorts and the attempt to combine resorts in different counties and the many owner accounts that have been corrupted. One can only hope Wyndham doesn't make it worse, if that is even possible.

Bay Club (also referred to as Bay Club I) is managed by VRI/Capital Vacations while Bay Club II is managed by Wyndham. At least they were in December when we were last there and this is what the Club Wyndham website shows today. The buildings are adjacent, Bay Club II has parking as the first floor, units start on the 2nd floor. Check-in for Bay Club II is not on-site (it was at one of the other Wyndham properties in Destin) check-in for Bay Club is on-site. Layout and furnishings of the units is also different between the 2 buildings.

Interesting that Club Wyndham shows 'limited availability' of 1 BR units in Bay Club as well as 1 and 2 bedroom units in Bay Club II. So it seems the Club owns some level of inventory in both.

Doesn't Bay Club II have a owners association?

I emailed someone in deeding for Capital Vacations and she has no information that Wyndham is no longer associated with Bay Club.
