Hi,

What are the typical closing costs for a week at MOC.

Any recommendations for a closing company?

I've spent $900-$1200 w/title insurance using a Hawaiian title company. If you don't need title insurance, many usually use LTTransfers.com, but Hawaii requires Hawaiian escrow company to hold the funds, which complicated things.

I've used Paul Larkin (843-531-9296, x202) with the Timeshare Closing Group out of S. Carolina for a couple of MOC deals this past year and he has been great. They handle the escrow requirement.

You might ping him for fee details, but both were significantly under $1000.

When I purchased my MOC1 a few years ago the title company was not located in Hawaii.

I believe Hawaii has a law that requires to be held with a Hawaiian company so make sure you keep that in mind
