I am buying a resale timeshare from a private owner. I need a timeshare closing company in Florida. I have called Backporch Closings (Advertise on TUG) and I am happy with how they answered questions, etc. I now have a signed contract and want to ensure that they are reputable prior to hiring them and sending a large check to close in escrow. Looking for References.
Is there a particular reason that the closing company has to be in Florida? Since most closings are done by mail, I'm wondering why this stipulation. I recently did a closing in a New Hampshire resort and a company in Bozeman, Montana did the closing and I found them to be fast and efficient. Everything was done by phone and fax. Resort Closings Inc. is the name of the company. They have three different levels of pricing depending on how much sleep you need to get during the process
Good point Bozoshoes. Especially since we are talking about a lot of money. There are at least a half dozen closing companies that we as a group can vouch for. Why go with the new guys?
Chicago Title has been around forever. They may not be the cheapest (they're not expensive either) but their reputation is second to none.
