Curious as to why there is so much availability in Getaways for this resort? Is it not great? We are wanting to go in June, which is a pretty busy time and there is availability.... which makes me suspicious.

Thank you!

CLC Marina del Mar is one of many CLC properties in the Fuengirola area. I've only stayed in the newer San Diego suites. I'd rate CLC properties in the Vacation Village or DRI quality range. They've been moving from a points club to a Fractional Ownership model. June is usually the beginning of the premium season in Spain. CLC moved from RCI to II about 4 years ago. I've been able to exchange for Marriots in Orlando and Hilton Head with my CLC points. As to why they are available; it could be that they're looking for potential buyers and using the getaways as a source. It could also be a Brexit thing with not as many Brits booking time. It could also be that II has a surplus of CLC points and they're not being booked as exchanges. Overall I've been happy with my CLC points (acquired resale) and you should be fine with any of their properties.

Nothing is going to change during the transition period for the UK leaving the EU which will be the end of December therefore there's no reason for Brits to refrain from booking holidays to Spain this year (or elsewhere) and there are no signs that people are.
