I am looking at a company called exitmytimeshare.com. They guarantee removing us from any responsibilities whatsoever on our deeded week at the Church Street Inn. Has anyone had experience with this company?

NO magic beans, potions, or pixie dust...

I grow weary of singing this same tune, but the fact remains that no person or entity possesses any magical powers to make a legal obligation just somehow disappear.

Like all other such alleged "magic acts", you can rest assured that their "guarantee" is no "guarantee" at all. The only real "guarantee" is that it will cost you money to learn first hand that their alleged magical powers simply do not exist. The only "disappearing act" will be the magical (and permanent) disappearance of your money.

Do yourself a huge favor and don't even pursue this. Save your money and avoid disappointment with the inevitable outcome of any such meaningless, empty promises.

List it on eBay for $1 and pay the transfer costs.

Most of these companies deed your timeshare to a phony LLC and abandon it - which is illegal, and may be rejected by your timeshare management company, if they recognize it as a fraudulent transfer. We can them "Viking Ship" companies. In which case, you'd be out the money you paid to get rid of it - and still own the timeshare.

We have a forum on TUG that is specifically for giving your timeshare away to private individuals who'd like to adopt it - legally, and very inexpensively. Generally, you just have to pay for the legal title transfer, which is around $150.

Here is a link with all the details about how to do it - it's important to do a good job on your Ads - you want to make it attractive to people who may be interested. There is a sample Ad in the post linked below - it doesn't have to be as elaborate as the sample, but you do want to provide all the info. about your timeshare, and why someone would like to adopt it from you:
