We live a few miles away so we can report that the weather could be spectacular.....You face will West so the air comes all the way from Hawaii or so it seems...and the sun sets into the Sea.
This is good sized unit with a full kitchen, family room and one bedroom...right across from the beach.
Carlsbad has become one of the most pleasant places to visit and live....there are more than 22 places to eat and have fun within a few minutes of the resort...Legoland is about 5 minutes up the road next to the Crossings municipal golf course that will challenge most of us.
There are at least ten more golf courses within 30 minutes that offer Golf Now deals...the village of Carlsbad is about five minutes North and has lots of places to see just walking around. Micro-brewed beers are in style as well as fish tacos and west coast pizza.
Our clean natural beaches are not a white sand Caribbean groomed place but far more casual with surfers and fishermen in many places...and the Ocean is our treasure to protect...dolphins will be seen close in and so will stingrays so shuffle...tide pools are really untouched...water quality is much better than the Atlantic....
You can walk to the Coaster and get to downtown, the zoo, Balboa Park and beyond in about 30 mins....we have the local knowledge so feel free to ask as many questions as you like.
