Christmas Candy

I used to make candy to give away at Christmas. I lost the recipe and wonder if any Tuggers have a recipe for this particular candy. The bottom part of the candy was a cream color with chopped nuts in it. You would put it on a cookie sheet, pour melted chocolate over it and harden. When it was hard, you broke it into pieces and enjoyed. I want to say it was called "bark" but I have looked at bark recipes on the net and they all talk about melting the chocolate, adding the nuts and then spreading it on a cookie sheet. Sounds similar but the one I made was light at the bottom with the nuts and the chocolate was poured over the top. Would appreciate any info or recipes. Thanks. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm not eating again until Christmas or maybe Easter....Linda
