Not trying to be a jerk but do you know this is in Western NC? That area got 24-30" of rain from the hurricane. Even if the resort exists still you likely can't get there for 6+ months.

It’s false information like this that is driving much needed revenue from the areas marginally or not affected by the disaster..

The resort is fully open with good road access via Hwy 321 and 421. Blowing rock was east of path of the storm.

Only the shooting reserve is closed.

From website at Chetola.com

“Chetola Strong since 1846!
We are still here and open for business!.
Thank you to everyone who has checked in on us!

All is clear from the recent storm on 9/27 in North Carolina at the Resort.”

Too late. The OP noted the resort was not directly affected, and then had to follow up with the direct posting from the resort's website. The OP was posting facts, and yours was what you thought maybe might be the situation on the ground, such as inaccessible for 6 months.
