Checked out a Select: Gulf Tides of Longboat Key

I was in the Tampa/St. Pete area for work and had some time on my hands over the weekend so I decided to snoop around. I headed South to Longboat Key and Venice Beach from St. Pete.

I wanted to check the location of Gulf Tides since it's part of the RCI Select for HGV owners. It's a small apartment complex (maybe 12 units or so) with a tennis court. It is not on the beach but across the street. Longboat key is very nice but mostly homes and condos. The St. Armand area and Sarasota aren't far away but I can't see myself exchanging into this.

You'd be lucky to snag any exchange on LBK.
The resorts there are low-key and relaxing.
But then, some (party) peep aren't into that.

You missed half the resort across the street that is beachfront.
