TUG Question of the day (havent had one in awahile)

We own 4 RCI weeks resorts. We recently visited a timeshare resort and listened to the sales program where it was recommended we buy a "points" timeshare in order to get into the points program.

We were recently told of your website and that there were other possibilities of getting into the RCI points program other than buying another expensive timeshare which we do not want due to maintenance fees as well as the initial expense. We were told there was a Trial Points Program whereby one can buy an amount of points and try the program and, if we found it workable, would renew the membership and transfer our "weeks" into this program. All of our weeks are transferrable.

Can you give us some information as we think we would be better satisfied with a "points" program???

Look forward to hearing from you.

In answer to one part of their question. RCI only allows for a fee, 2 week deposits per points account #.

I thought you could only do 2 weeks PFD at each resort you own. So if you own 4 weeks at the same resort, you can only do 2 weeks of PFD. BUT, if your 4 weeks where at several different RCI resorts, you could do all 4 weeks in PFD.
