If you've been thinking about buying a week that trades in II (Interval International) but didn't want to commit to another high MF, then this is the week for you! I think this is about the cheapest way to join II! Get access to II's get "getaways" (rentals) and great trades available during Flexchange (less than 59 days out.)

This Eagle Point one-bedroom every-other-year (even) week trades in II, and has very low fees. You only pay fees during even years, with half the fee due in winter and half due in summer. Does for 2012 are $434. This is a nice resort--the reason the fees are so low is that Colorado allows resorts to charge lower fees for off-season weeks, and this is a floating spring/fall week. (Fees for winter and summer weeks are higher.)

I am "selling" this for $1. (I would offer it for free, but I think deeds are more valid if at least $1 changes hands.) I am willing to close it myself at no cost to the new owner. First usage would be 2012.

This is what the resort calls a "swing season" week. It floats weeks 15 (Mid-April) to 22 (late May) and 40 (early October) to 47 (mid-late November.) This includes Memorial Day week (and usually the first week after Memorial day) and the week of Thanksgiving (and usually the week after Thanksgiving), but Easter is not included in "swing season"even if it falls during weeks 15-22. It is generally easy to book any "swing season" week that you want, except that Thanksgiving week and the week after Thanksgiving often book up within a few days of reservations opening.

In 2010, the resort completed an extensive renovation with no special assessment needed. It is very well managed by East-West Resorts, the same company that manages Falcon Point resort in Avon and the very upscale Poste Montaine Lodge in Beaver Creek. The resort's website is http://www.eaglepointresort.net/

Please note that this "swing season" week does NOT have a lot of trade power in II. However, it is a good way to get access to II and their excellent "Getaway" (rental) deals, plus during II's "Flexchange" period (59 days out or less from check-in) all trade power restrictions are dropped in II. Eagle Point is rated "Select" (Silver) by Interval, which is important because II has a quality filter that prevents low-quality resorts from trading into high quality resorts. (The quality filter is relaxed during Flexchange, but not dropped.)

I have also been able to trade this week through HTSE (Hawaii Timeshare Exchange) by booking a late May or early June week, which HTSE considers red.

Please email me with any questions. (My PM box is often full, so emailing is better. Click on my user name and you will see an option to email me.)

Thank you!
Judy
